We are looking for someone to greet our patients and visitors in Maple Grove and assist patients with clinic appointment scheduling in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The receptionist will use multiple electronic medical records and work in a fast-paced environment.
Major Duties and Functions:
The receptionist must recognize and comply with legal regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements related to each area of responsibility. The person also protects patient and team member privacy and only accesses patient and/or team member-related information as needed to perform job duties. The receptionist also must report violations or areas of concern to a supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.
Job Requirements
A minimum of one year of experience in the health care industry is preferred, along with knowledge or experience with health insurance plans. Must maintain strict confidentiality, possess a strong work ethic, and have excellent attention to detail. We are looking for someone with maturity and a professional appearance who is patient, courteous, tactful, and friendly. The receptionist must be able to work as a team member, take direction, and follow practice policies and processes. Occasional off-hours work may be required.

Are you interested in managing the flow of patients through a clinic and assisting providers with the management and treatment of those patients? If so, we would love to talk with you. We are looking for someone to provide these services, as well as telephone support and communication between patients and providers. The Clinical Assistant takes direction from the Clinic Supervisor, Director of Operations, and providers.
