Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery

About Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery

Laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery is performed for many conditions today. This technique requires only a few small incisions into which your surgeon will fit long, thin surgical instruments and a tiny camera. The camera will provide images to guide the surgeon during the procedure. The result is less pain and a faster recovery, including a shorter hospital stay. For many types of surgeries, patients can go home the same day.
